Bruscino Design: Unveils a Bold New Identity at Top Marques Monaco 2026

Returning to the Grimaldi Forum for the fourth time, the Italian atelier founded by Dino Bruscino embarks on a transformative new chapter, reimagining its legacy of craftsmanship, design, and innovation under the name Bruscino Design

As the highly anticipated Top Marques Monaco takes centre stage, Bruscino Design steps into the spotlight with a milestone moment. Formerly known as DB Design, the atelier’s new identity represents more than a rebranding – it’s a redefinition of purpose. The focus shifts from the finished object to the artistry behind its creation, celebrating the craftsmanship and vision that breathe life into every piece.

“We started with a dream and a Vespa drawn on paper. Today, we choose to go further. Our journey continues – not as a change of direction, but as the natural story of our evolution. The same art, seen through a broader perspective,” says Dino Bruscino.

Rooted in a passion for vehicles as design objects, Bruscino’s work transcends functionality, blending aesthetics, engineering, and industrial culture. His philosophy of “hidden design” explores the harmony between mechanics, structure, and form, where engineering and artistry merge into a singular creative language.

The Vespa, an enduring icon of Italian design

At the heart of this vision is the Vespa, an enduring icon of Italian design. Under Bruscino’s hand, it transforms into a contemporary mechanical sculpture, crafted through a meticulous, artisanal process. From the initial sketch to the final masterpiece, each creation is a symphony of worked metals, carbon fiber, precious woods, custom paints, leather, and handpicked fabrics. Even the engine is reimagined with the same artistic precision, creating a seamless dialogue between form and function.

Bruscino Design’s creations have captivated collectors and design enthusiasts worldwide, earning a place on prestigious stages such as the Monaco Yacht Show, Salone del Mobile in Milan, and, of course, Top Marques Monaco.

The Vespa Ocealia boasts a Princely Signature

One of the atelier’s most iconic moments was the unveiling of the Vespa Ocealia at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo. Inspired by luxury yachting and dedicated to Monaco, the piece was signed by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and Flavio Briatore, symbolising support for the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation’s environmental initiatives. This connection was further highlighted during the 2023 Rewild the Planet charity auction at the Yacht Club de Monaco, where one of Bruscino’s creations was auctioned to fund conservation projects.

Bruscino Design has also forged strong ties with the contemporary art world, collaborating with international artists and expanding its creative language beyond traditional industrial design.

Bruscino Design’s new chapter

With its new identity, Bruscino Design embarks on an exciting chapter, staying true to its core philosophy: the fusion of Italian craftsmanship, aesthetic vision, and innovation.

Top Marques Monaco 2026 provides the perfect stage for this evolution, showcasing Bruscino Design’s journey within one of the world’s most prestigious arenas for luxury, technology, and design.

The Musée National de l’Automobile : A Journey through the Past to Shape the Future

Each year, the Musée National de l’Automobile – Collection Schlumpf brings its most iconic vehicles to Top Marques Monaco, offering a unique glimpse into automotive history. From the legendary Bugatti Royale to groundbreaking innovations like the Citroën Traction Avant, this extraordinary museum not only preserves the past but inspires the future of mobility.

With over 20,000 square meters of exhibition space and a commitment to education and restoration, it stands as a global beacon for car enthusiasts and visionaries alike. As part of its mission to share its exceptional heritage with the world, the museum participates in prestigious events like Top Marques Monaco, where it showcases a handpicked selection of its most iconic vehicles. This annual presentation connects the museum with a global audience of car enthusiasts, collectors, and visionaries, offering a rare opportunity to experience the artistry and innovation that have shaped the automotive world.

Preserving the Past to Shape the Future

In a world where the automotive industry is undergoing a profound transformation—embracing electrification, digitalization, and new mobility solutions—the history of the automobile has never been more essential. Understanding today’s innovations requires a deep appreciation of yesterday’s advancements. The Musée National de l’Automobile in Mulhouse is dedicated to preserving, studying, and sharing an exceptional mechanical heritage that spans nearly a century and a half of industrial and human innovation. Through its exhibitions, restoration workshops, and global collaborations, the museum ensures that the legacy of the automobile continues to inspire future generations.

A Museum of Global Significance

This one-of-a-kind museum chronicles the evolution of the automotive industry through one of the most significant collections in existence. Originally built around the extraordinary collection assembled by the Schlumpf brothers, it has continued to grow over the decades. From the museum’s inception, 426 vehicles were classified as Historic Monuments – a rare recognition for industrial objects, underscoring their cultural and historical value. In 2002, the museum was awarded the prestigious “Musée de France” designation, ensuring the collection’s inalienable status and its enduring place in the national heritage.

Passing Down Knowledge and Skills

Beyond preservation, the museum has become a true center for knowledge transmission. It has partnered with the Alsace Chamber of Trades to offer training for the Professional Qualification Certificate in vintage and historic vehicle mechanics. Apprentices have the unique opportunity to work directly on heritage vehicles in the museum’s workshops, under the guidance of restoration experts. This hands-on approach ensures the transfer of rare technical skills and perpetuates the trades essential to preserving automotive heritage.

A Journey Through Automotive History

At the heart of the museum, the Aventure space, illuminated by nearly 800 lampposts identical to those on Paris’s Pont Alexandre III, offers a breathtaking journey through the history of the automobile. Spanning over 17,000 square meters, vehicles are displayed chronologically, allowing visitors to trace the technological and stylistic evolution of the automobile.

The “Ancestors” (1878–1918)

The journey begins with the “Ancestors,” covering the period from 1878 to 1918. Here, visitors can discover the pioneers of motorized mobility: Antoinette, Panhard, Peugeot, De Dion, and Benz. It was during this era that engineer René Panhard established a mechanical architecture—engine at the front, clutch, gearbox, and rear-wheel drive—that became the standard for decades and remains the foundation of many modern vehicles.

The “Classics” (1918–1938)

The “Classics” period marks the golden age of the European automotive industry. The merger of Mercedes and Benz gave rise to an iconic manufacturer and ushered in an era of prestigious, high-performance cars. This period also saw the emergence of major technical innovations. In 1934, Citroën revolutionized the industry with the mass production of front-wheel drive technology, which remains widely used today. At the same time, the opening of Peugeot’s Sochaux factories symbolized the rise of industrial-scale production.

The “Modern” Era (Post-1945)

After 1945, the automobile entered the “Modern” era. In a context of reconstruction and social transformation, manufacturers focused on producing lighter, more economical vehicles accessible to a broader audience. The application of Taylorist production methods democratized the automobile, turning it into an everyday object.

Celebrating Performance and Prestige

While the history of the automobile is one of mobility, it is also one of performance and dreams. The museum’s motorsport section offers a spectacular demonstration of this, featuring legendary models such as the 1908 Panhard-Levassor Biplace Course, the 1937 Mercedes W125, the 1957 Maserati 250F, and the 1963 Lotus Type 33.

Among these exceptional machines, one car stands out: the 1923 Bugatti Type 32. Designed by Ettore Bugatti, it featured revolutionary aerodynamics for its time. Nicknamed “Tank,” it is the sole surviving car from the 1923 Grand Prix de Tours and still retains its original engine.

Nearby, the Masterpieces space celebrates the most prestigious automobiles in history. Exceptional models such as the Panhard-Levassor X26, the 1949 Delahaye Type 135 coach, and the 1924 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost showcase the refinement and craftsmanship of the great automotive houses. At the center of this space are the legendary Bugatti Royales, including the famous 1930 Bugatti Royale Type 41 Coupé Napoléon, which once belonged to Ettore Bugatti himself.

Restoration: A Blend of Art and Science

Preserving a collection of this magnitude requires exceptional expertise. The museum has its own restoration workshop, led by engineer and heritage restorer Brice Chalançon, supported by two specialized mechanics, Bertrand Heck and Timothé Quinet. Over the years, the team has developed internationally recognized scientific and technical expertise.

Restoration work can range from simple material stabilization (metals, leather, or textiles) to the complete disassembly of a vehicle for full restoration, sometimes including its return to working condition. Some interventions allow visitors to witness the precision and dedication required for these exceptional trades.

This work is carried out with scientific rigor and in accordance with the ethical standards of French museums. The workshop collaborates with numerous partners, including the University of Haute-Alsace, the National Heritage Institute, the Haute École ARC in Neuchâtel, and the Center for Research and Restoration of French Museums. Corporate sponsors such as Motul also contribute to these conservation projects.

Innovation Rooted in History

As the automotive industry prepares for a new technological revolution, the museum’s collections serve as a vital reminder: innovation is rooted in historical continuity. Every contemporary advancement – whether in aerodynamics, mechanical architecture, or energy efficiency – has its origins in the experiments of early pioneers.

By highlighting these historical milestones, the Musée National de l’Automobile does more than preserve a heritage. It fuels the imagination of engineers, designers, and enthusiasts shaping the automobiles of tomorrow. This is the story the museum strives to bring to life, reminding us that the future of the automobile is always built on its past.

Top Classics : Driving Passion and Prestige in Top Marques’ Classic Car Hall

Since the inception of the Classic Car Hall at Top Marques Monaco in 2022, Top Classics has been a cornerstone exhibitor, showcasing their unwavering dedication to automotive excellence. From their roots in Belgium to their new life on the Côte d’Azur, this family’s journey embodies a harmonious blend of heritage, innovation, and the art of living through luxury automobiles.

Relocating from Belgium to the Côte d’Azur is far more than a simple change of address. For this Belgian family, it represents a profound transformation of life, driven by a clear vision: combining passion, excellence, and quality of life. Between Monaco and the south of France, their journey illustrates how luxury automobiles and high performance can seamlessly integrate into a balanced family lifestyle.

A Passion Embedded in the Family’s DNA

Automobiles have always held a central place in the family’s life. In Belgium, cars were never just a means of transportation but objects of fascination, embodying mechanical craftsmanship, innovation, and emotion. Family discussions often revolved around engines, iconic designs, and the thrill of driving. This passion, passed down through generations, found new momentum on the Côte d’Azur. Here, automobiles become a full-fledged experience: winding roads in the hinterland, Mediterranean panoramas, and a culture where prestige and exclusivity are integral to daily life.

Top Marques Monaco: A Natural Stage for Their Vision

The connection with Top Marques Monaco was an obvious choice. More than just an automotive exhibition, this platform serves as a unique space where innovation, performance, and lifestyle converge. For the family, Top Marques Monaco is a meeting point for enthusiasts, collectors, and key players in the world of luxury automobiles.

Being part of this universe allows them to share their demanding vision of the automotive world: prestige rooted in authenticity, precision, and emotion rather than ostentation. In Monaco, every vehicle on display tells a story, and every detail reflects a pursuit of excellence that resonates with their own values.

Settling on the Côte d’Azur: A New Balance

The move to the south of France and Monaco profoundly influenced the family’s dynamics. This decision was not solely based on the region’s climate or allure but on the desire to find an environment where personal life and professional ambitions could coexist harmoniously.

The rhythm of the Côte d’Azur is more fluid and inspiring, enabling the family to strengthen their bonds, better manage time between work and shared moments, and thrive in an international ecosystem closely tied to prestige and automobiles. Monaco’s proximity has also opened doors to new opportunities: international networks, strategic encounters, and direct access to major industry events. The Mediterranean has become a daily backdrop, providing essential serenity to the family’s equilibrium.

Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari: Two Complementary Philosophies

Why Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari? For the family, these two brands represent distinct yet complementary visions of prestige and performance.

Mercedes-Benz embodies heritage, technical precision, and timeless elegance. Their focus is particularly on the brand’s classic models, which they restore with absolute fidelity to the original. Each restoration project is approached as a true rebirth, where every detail matters: bodywork, engine, upholstery, and instrumentation. This work goes far beyond aesthetics; it is a dialogue with history, a deep respect for the engineering of the era, and an appreciation for the soul of each vehicle.

Ferrari, on the other hand, represents pure passion and immediate adrenaline. The first ignition of a Ferrari engine on a mountain road remains an unforgettable memory: the sound, the power, and the direct connection between driver and machine. Ferrari is not just a car but an intense experience, often associated with exceptional moments and iconic automotive events.

Balancing Family Life and Luxury Automobiles

Navigating the world of luxury automobiles while maintaining a harmonious family life is a delicate balance. For this family, the key lies in sharing. Automotive events become shared experiences, professional trips sometimes turn into family getaways, and the passion is naturally passed down to the younger generation.

Here, prestige is not synonymous with excess but with thoughtful choices, quality time, and shared values. The Côte d’Azur offers a rare setting where professional ambitions and personal well-being can mutually reinforce each other.

A Path Focused on the Future

Now settled between the south of France and Monaco, the family continues their journey, driven by an unwavering passion for exceptional automobiles. Their story reflects a modern vision of prestige: international, demanding, yet deeply human.

From Belgium to the Côte d’Azur, this journey is not merely geographical. It is the story of a family that has transformed a passion into a true art of living, at the heart of elegance, performance, and automotive emotion.

Head to Head : Daniel Abt & Constantin Buschmann

Two titans of automotive innovation, BRABUS and ABT Sportsline, share their perspectives on the future of the supercar industry, the rise of electrification, and the seamless fusion of performance and luxury.

Daniel ABT

First up in our exclusive tête-à-tête is Daniel Abt, CCO of ABT Sportsline and former Formula E driver, renowned for blending his racing expertise with the brand’s legacy of high-performance innovation and engineering excellence.

1. How would you describe the design philosophy of ABT in one sentence?

We don’t modify cars, we complete them, because we believe every great car has a more perfect version of itself waiting to be unlocked.

2. What is the most challenging part of designing a car that stands out in the world of high-end, bespoke vehicles?

The real challenge is finding that fine line between bold and excessive. Anyone can go louder, more aggressive, more extreme.  The moment it starts to feel forced, it loses all its credibility and elegance. True individuality has to feel inevitable, like the car couldn’t look any other way.

3. What is your favorite project you’ve worked on?

Without a doubt, the ABT XGT. That project had a completely different energy from the start. There were no boundaries holding us back, no compromises. And honestly, no project has ever embodied our motto «from the racetrack to the road» more perfectly. The ABT XGT is living proof of exactly what that means. Projects like that remind you why you fell in love with this work in the first place.

4. What has been your favorite engine; V8, V10 or V12?

Honestly, V8, V10 and V12 all have their own appeal, each has a different character, so it’s hard to pick just one. If I have to I would choose V10. I love the pure handling and sound of it.

5. How do you strike a balance between pushing the boundaries of design and staying true to the brand’s identity?

You have to deeply respect and understand the DNA of the original brand before you touch anything. Audi, Lamborghini,  CUPRA – each one has its own design language, its own values, its own personality. Our job is to amplify that, not overwrite it. When we get it right, you look at the finished car and think: this could only ever be an ABT Audi, or an ABT CUPRA. It feels like a natural evolution, not a contradiction.

6. What trends do you see shaping the future of luxury car design in the next decade?

Individualization will become more important than ever. People want objects that feel uniquely theirs, and cars are no exception. Performance will still matter deeply, even as electrification changes what that word means. Software will increasingly shape the experience from the inside out. But what I care about most is making sure that through all of this change, we never lose the emotional soul of the car. That connection between driver and machine. That has to survive, whatever the future looks like.

7. Does Top Marques Monaco’s brand-new Tuners’ Hall reflect a growing trend in the tuning world?

Absolutely. The demand for personalisation has been growing steadily for years, and the best tuning companies have long since evolved beyond simply modifying production cars. They’ve become genuine automotive brands with their own vision, their own aesthetic, their own loyal following. A dedicated space at an event like Top Marques Monaco reflects exactly where the industry is heading.

8. What advice would you give to aspiring automotive designers who dream of working for your company?

Don’t just design for the sake of how something looks — fall in love with the whole car, understand the engineering, develop a real sensitivity for proportions and how surfaces relate to each other. And above all, build your own voice. The designers who truly make an impact aren’t the ones who follow trends, they’re the ones who have something genuine to say and the courage to say it.

9. Why do you choose to exhibit at Top Marques Monaco?

Because it brings together exactly the people who understand what we do and why we do it. With a common passion for cars. This kind of energy is rare, and for a brand like ABT, there’s really no better stage.

10. And one for fun: What’s one thing you secretly admire about BRABUS’ designs?

What I genuinely respect is how far they push the limits of a vehicle while staying road legal. Anyone can make a car extreme, that’s the easy part. But doing it at that level, with that intensity, and still meeting every regulation? That’s a completely different discipline and very few tuners in the world can actually pull it off. Honestly, it’s something that’s been lost a little in the industry over the years. And the fact that both BRABUS and ABT have never let go of that commitment, that’s something I have a lot of respect for.

Constantin Buschmann

Next in our exclusive tête-à-tête is Constantin Buschmann, CEO and owner of BRABUS, the renowned brand synonymous with high-performance luxury vehicles, cutting-edge design, and bespoke automotive excellence.

1. How would you describe the design philosophy of BRABUS in one sentence?

Our design philosophy is what we call the “One Second Wow.” You see it, you fall in love with it, and you just know you want it. That’s our mission—whether we’re setting our sights on something that is already great and take it to the next level or bringing to life another “crazy” idea that nobody has ever seen before. Simply put: our designs either have that wow-effect, or we haven’t done our job right.

2. What is the most challenging part of designing a car that stands out in the world of high-end, bespoke vehicles?

The real challenge is standing out in a world in which luxury and exclusivity are the baseline. Our customers expect a product that is truly unique, so we’re constantly pushing ourselves—always chasing the next idea, the next level. People ask me all the time: “Constantin, which BRABUS supercar are you most looking forward to?” or, even better, “Which is your favorite?” My answer is always the same: “The next one!” It’s about finding that balance between going further every time while still making every product unmistakably BRABUS.

3. What is your favorite project you’ve worked on?

The next one! Jokes aside, we’re actually currently gearing up to launch one of the most exciting projects that we’ve ever done: the BRABUS BODO. I can’t say too much yet, but I can’t wait for it to finally be out there. It’s a car that means a lot to me personally, it’s a car my father would have been unbelievably proud of and, most importantly, it’s the beginning of a completely new chapter for our brand. That being said, stay tuned. We’ll be sharing more in the coming days!

4. What has been your favorite engine; V8, V10 or V12?

V8—for sure!

5. How do you strike a balance between pushing the boundaries of design and staying true to the brand’s identity?

We’re always exploring new ideas, designs and directions—but in the end, everything we come up with gets filtered through the BRABUS DNA. Even when we go completely crazy or try something we’ve never done, there’s always that signature, that connection to where we come from. Color, for example, has been a really exciting topic for us recently. Traditionally, BRABUS has always come in black. But what if it didn’t? What would that look like? Does it make sense? Finding an answer that is still instantly recognizable as a BRABUS is a challenge, but I think the result always speaks for itself.

6. What trends do you see shaping the future of luxury car design in the next decade?

I think we’re going to see completely new levels of individuality and integration. Customers don’t just want cars anymore; they want a fully curated experience that reflects their lifestyle. The same is true for boats, motorbikes, real estate, you name it. I think we’re going to see even more bespoke materials, more unique, in-depth options for personalization, and with electrification continuing to push design into new territories, a new landscape of digital elements as well. But regardless of technology, one thing will remain essential: the “One Second Wow.” For us, emotion will always be the benchmark of luxury.

7. Does Top Marques Monaco’s brand-new Tuners’ Hall reflect a growing trend in the tuning world?

Definitely. I think the new Tuners’ Hall really shows how much the perception of tuning has evolved. It’s, of course, still all about modifying cars, but more than ever there’s a focus on individuality and high-end craftsmanship. You can tell that every single car in there is the result of passion for the industry, and I’m excited to see what else people are going to come up with.

8. What advice would you give to aspiring automotive designers who dream of working for your company?

My best advice would be to find your own unique vision for cars and believe in it. Be bold, stay disciplined and, above all, stay hungry—this industry rewards those who are willing to go the extra mile.

9. Why do you choose to exhibit at Top Marques Monaco?

Top Marques has been a fixed point in our event calendar for over ten years. It goes way beyond what most would expect from an exhibition in this business and Monaco is one of the most important hotspots in Europe for us to meet clients, collectors and enthusiasts who understand and appreciate what we do.

10. And one for fun: What’s one thing you secretly admire about the ABT Sportsline designs?

What I respect most about ABT is their consistency. They’ve also developed a very clear and recognizable design language over the years and stayed true to it. Especially these days, when you see more and more brands constantly trying to reinvent themselves, that level of focus and direction is impressive. It shows confidence in their identity—something we’ve always valued just as much at BRABUS.

Where performance meets personality: The Rise of bespoke automotive excellence

The Luxury Tuners Hall represents the future of automotive passion, where individuality, craftsmanship, and extreme performance come together under one roof.

This year, Top Marques Monaco introduces an exciting and exclusive addition: the Luxury Tuners Hall. Spanning an impressive 1,500 m2, this new space brings together some of the world’s most prestigious tuners to unveil their customised creations. These bespoke models redefine the identities of iconic cars, showcasing the cutting edge of automotive innovation and artistry.

“The Luxury Tuners Hall marks a natural evolution for Top Marques Monaco. It highlights the creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship that define today’s bespoke automotive design. This new space will offer visitors an immersive and spectacular experience,” shares Emeric Garcia, director of the event.

To delve deeper into the vision behind this groundbreaking concept, we spoke with Philippe Kikano, the driving force behind the creation of the Luxury Tuners Hall. Here’s what Philippe had to say about the importance of this exciting addition to Top Marques Monaco and its impact on the automotive world:

Philippe, what is the importance of the Tuners Hall which can be found this year in the Verriere ?

“The Tuners Hall is a natural evolution of Top Marques Monaco. In the Principality, clients are constantly looking for something different, something new – for example, cars that stand out and reflect a unique identity. It became clear to the Top Marques team that this segment deserved its own dedicated space to showcase that creativity and individuality.”

What impact do you think it will have on the future popularity of automobiles?

“We are entering an era where the clientele is becoming younger and more expressive, with a strong desire to differentiate themselves. This will push the industry toward more personalisation and exclusivity, making tuning an increasingly central part of automotive culture.”

What is your perspective on the tuning industry?

“Today, luxury tuners are reaching – and in some cases surpassing – manufacturers in terms of quality, craftsmanship, and design, especially with modern vehicles. While some may find certain creations extravagant, others absolutely love them, but no one can deny the level of work and the growing enthusiasm around this industry.”

How do you balance extreme performance with luxury in tuning today?

“The best tuners understand that performance alone is no longer enough – clients expect an experience combining power, refinement, and design. It’s about enhancing the car without compromising comfort or elegance, this defines luxury tuning today.”

The Luxury Tuners Hall is not just a showcase of cars; it’s a celebration of individuality, innovation, and the future of automotive excellence. With this new addition, Top Marques Monaco continues to set the standard for luxury and performance, offering visitors an unforgettable experience that blends artistry with engineering.

Monaco, A Century of Automotive : Excellence and Elegance

Monaco’s rich automotive heritage comes to life this summer in a highly anticipated exhibition at the Grimaldi Forum, as highlighted by Dany Rubrecht, Director of Communication.

In the collective imagination, few places in the world share such an intimate bond with the Automobile as the Principality of Monaco. Nestled between sea and mountains, it has been the stage for iconic moments in mechanical history for over a century.

In 1911, the very first Rallye Monte-Carlo placed Monaco at the heart of the international automotive scene. A few years later, in 1929, the inaugural Monaco Grand Prix secured the Principality’s place in Formula 1 legend, symbolizing its fascination with performance, innovation, and automotive elegance.

This unique relationship will be celebrated this summer at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, with a major exhibition dedicated to the Principality’s automotive identity. Designed as an immersive journey into a living heritage, it will invite visitors to explore more than a century of mechanical passion, legendary competitions, and encounters between automobiles and Monaco’s refined lifestyle.

A History Inseparable from Competition

Today, Monaco is a global reference for automotive enthusiasts, largely thanks to its legendary competitions. The Principality’s winding streets quickly became an open-air laboratory for manufacturers.

The Rallye Monte-Carlo remains one of the most demanding and iconic events in the world. Its sometimes snow-covered Alpine roads have showcased some of the most prestigious brands, from Alpine to Lancia, and Renault. Over the decades, it has become a symbol of excellence and adventure.

The Monaco Grand Prix, meanwhile, remains one of the most prestigious races in Formula 1. Its urban circuit winds through the harbor, past buildings, and around the famous Fairmont hairpin.
Driving in Monaco demands absolute precision, making it one of the ultimate challenges for both drivers  and engineers. Over the years, the most iconic single-seaters have raced here under the banners of Ferrari, McLaren, or Lotus.
In Monaco, performance and tradition combine to
create a truly unique spectacle.

The Great Names of the Automobile

The exhibition will showcase an exceptional panorama of brands that have marked mechanical and aesthetic history. Some exemplify French excellence, such as Bugatti or Delahaye whose creations defined the golden age of coachbuilding. Others, like Gordini, Alfa Romeo or Ferrari, reflect a time when mechanical innovation and aesthetic audacity went hand in hand.

The exhibition will also feature models representing luxury and automotive refinement, including Rolls-Royce, with the actual car used for the marriage of Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace Kelly in Monaco in 1956. The vehicles on display, from the most iconic to the most unexpected, reveal how the automobile has evolved into a true cultural object.

An Immersive and Living Exhibition

At the heart of the scenography, the exhibition offers far more than a simple car display. Automotive platforms, documentaries, collectibles, and previously unseen archives from the Automobile Club de Monaco create an immersive journey.

Visitors will discover rare memorabilia: vintage posters, trophies, historic photographs, and technical documents tracing the evolution of mechanics and design. Interactive and audiovisual installations immerse visitors in the atmosphere of the great races, from the Rallye Monte-Carlo to contemporary duels at the Monaco Grand Prix.

A Thematic Journey

The exhibition unfolds around several dimensions illustrating the unique bond between Monaco and the Automobile. It first highlights the historical links between the Princely Family and the automotive world, from supporting early competitions to promoting a deeply rooted automotive culture. Another part is dedicated to the Concours d’Élégance, a celebration of design and coachbuilding through emblematic documents demonstrating how the Automobile can become an object of emotion and beauty.

Finally, the legendary competitions take center stage.
The Rallye Monte-Carlo and Monaco Grand Prix are presented complementarily, revealing mechanical performance, technical challenges, and historic feats that have forged the Principality’s legend. Each section combines cars, collectibles, and interactive elements, offering visitors a dynamic and immersive experience.

Monaco, an Automotive Identity

Held at the foot of the Grand Prix’s legendary circuit, this exhibition conceived by Rodolphe Rapetti, Chief Heritage Curator, is a first: Monaco has never before celebrated its automotive identity so comprehensively.

At the crossroads of history and culture, it reminds visitors how the automobile has shaped the Principality’s international image and transformed mechanical passion into living heritage. For visitors from around the world, the exhibition offers a unique opportunity to rediscover Monaco through the lens of the Automobile, where machinery becomes spectacle and cars embody an art of living.

Organised with the collaboration of the Automobile Club de Monaco, it is supported by CMB Monaco, Sotheby’s, Groupe Marzocco, Groupe Segond Automobiles, and Acqua Fiuggi.

The Ultimate Podium for Supercar Launches

Over its 21 editions, Top Marques Monaco has steadily built its reputation as a leading stage for unveiling the world’s most extraordinary supercars. From niche constructors to iconic brands like McLaren and Audi, the event has become a symbol of luxury, innovation, and exclusivity. As we celebrate this milestone, we investigate the reasons why Top Marques Monaco has become the ultimate launch pad for automotive excellence.

Top Marques Monaco 2026 is set to break records with 16 debuts, including world-first unveilings and exclusive European and Monaco premieres. Held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the event has become a magnet for both niche constructors and global automotive icons, offering an unparalleled platform to showcase groundbreaking designs and cutting-edge technology.

With more than a score of world premieres to its name, Top Marques Monaco has grown into much more than an automotive event. It is a stage where innovation meets luxury, and where the most extraordinary supercars take centre stage. This year’s lineup reaffirms the event’s status as the ultimate launch pad for automotive legends, setting new standards for exclusivity, craftsmanship, and global prestige.

Why Monaco?

Monaco transcends geography, standing as a beacon of luxury, innovation, and global influence. Renowned as a hub of wealth and sophistication, the Principality provides an unparalleled backdrop that transforms every supercar launch into a moment of international significance.

Few places in the world share such an intimate bond with the automobile as Monaco. Nestled between sea and mountains, it has been the stage for iconic moments in mechanical history for over a century.

In 1911, the very first Rallye Monte-Carlo placed Monaco at the heart of the international automotive scene. A few years later, in 1929, the inaugural Monaco Grand Prix secured the Principality’s place in Formula 1 legend, symbolising its fascination with performance, innovation, and automotive elegance. This deep-rooted connection between Monaco and the automobile has shaped the Principality into a global symbol of automotive excellence, where history and innovation converge seamlessly.

Monaco’s exclusivity and prestige make it the ideal setting for high-profile events. It is a place where ambitions are realised, partnerships are forged, and the extraordinary becomes reality.

Why Top Marques Monaco?

While Monaco’s history and prestige set the stage, it is the unique format and audience of Top Marques Monaco that truly distinguish it as the ultimate venue for supercar launches.

“Top Marques Monaco is one of the world’s most exclusive automotive events,” says a spokesperson for BPM Exclusive. “Held at the heart of the Monegasque calendar, alongside the Formula 1 Grand Prix and the Cannes Film Festival, the event enjoys exceptional exposure. It is an ideal platform for presenting new models to a highly qualified audience. By participating, BPM Exclusive is at the centre of a major event, at the crossroads of decision-makers, collectors, media, and international influencers.”

Unlike larger motor shows, Top Marques Monaco provides a more intimate and curated setting, allowing brands to present new hypercar models directly to a highly qualified audience of collectors, enthusiasts, and decision-makers. The Monaco backdrop reinforces the prestige of a launch, ensuring that new models are revealed in a context that truly reflects their positioning at the very top of the automotive world.

“The audience at Top Marques Monaco is exceptionally aligned with luxury and high-performance brands – knowledgeable, passionate, and often directly involved in purchasing or collecting,” says a spokesperson for Giamaro Automobili. “This creates meaningful interactions rather than fleeting exposure. The atmosphere is refined yet energetic, encouraging deeper conversations, media engagement, and genuine interest in the engineering and philosophy behind each vehicle, which significantly enhances the impact of a brand’s presence.”

Key World Launches Over the Years

Since its inception, Top Marques Monaco has hosted some of the most iconic world premieres in automotive history. From futuristic concepts to groundbreaking hypercars, each debut has added to the event’s legacy.

In its early years, Top Marques Monaco set the tone for innovation with the debut of the Ascari KZ1 in 2004, a handcrafted marvel inspired by racing legend Alberto Ascari, and the A.D. Tramontana in 2005, a Spanish masterpiece with a central V12 engine. By 2009, the event was already pushing boundaries with the Koenigsegg Quant, a revolutionary electric sports car featuring solar cells for on-the-go recharging.

As the industry evolved, Top Marques Monaco became a launch pad for sustainable innovation. The Quant e-Sportlimousine, unveiled in 2014, showcased the potential of alternative energy with its saltwater-powered engine producing 912 hp and a range of 643 km. Similarly, the Toroidion IMW Concept in 2015 promised 1,341 hp and acceleration from 0-400 km/h in just 11 seconds, redefining the possibilities of electric supercars.

The event has also been a stage for unforgettable concepts, such as the ArcaBoard hoverboard in 2016, the Frangivento Charlotte roadster with a built-in aquarium in 2017, and the AeroMobil Flying Car prototype that captured the imagination of attendees.

Recent years have seen Top Marques Monaco continue to set the standard for luxury and innovation. The Audi RS6 GTO Concept in 2023 paid tribute to 40 years of quattro technology, while the Bertone GB110 hypercar in 2024 boasted a modified Lamborghini V10 engine and a €2 million price tag. McLaren’s Artura Spider, revealed by BPM Exclusive, marked the brand’s entry into the hybrid convertible market.

“Being present at Top Marques Monaco has become a strong marker of credibility and a clear signal to an exceptional clientele,” says BPM Exclusive. “It’s a positioning fully in line with the DNA and ambitions of our brand.”

“Top Marques has established itself as a global benchmark, renowned for hosting world premieres, showcasing the most recent supercars.”

Raul Marchisio: From Champion Rally Driver to Monaco’s Garage King and Social Media Sensation

If you were to write the script for an underdog story that includes a dash of tragedy, a sprinkle of determination, and a whole lot of supercars, Raul Marchisio’s tale would steal the show. It all started with a rather unique birth in a taxi (yes, you read that correctly). Raul was born in a taxi on his way to the hospital in Cuneo, Piemonte, a fun fact his father claimed was the reason for his lifelong obsession with cars. It’s almost as if he was destined for a life in motorsport and supercars.

Despite his early passion for motorsport, Raul, unlike many others in the field, was not born into it. His success was the result of relentless hard work, unwavering single-mindedness, and the support of a strong family who stood by him every step of the way. At the age of 12 and a half, he left school to work in the markets of Cuneo, juggling five markets a week while attending night school. By the age of 17, Raul had opened nine shops in three years—selling clothes at cost. His entrepreneurial spirit was unmatched, and his knack for understanding people was undeniable. As Raul saw it, his work in retail wasn’t just a way to make ends meet; it was a steppingstone to his true passion—racing.

At 19, Raul made the leap into motorsport, racing his mother’s Opel Corsa that he modified himself. The rest, as they say, is history—he became the Italian champion in 1990, signing with Lancia soon after. He was living the dream, racing for top-tier brands like Audi and Renault, and even moving to Monaco, a popular home for many of the great and good of motorsport. But then, disaster struck, altering the course of his career.

In 1996, while driving up the Col de Tendre, Raul suffered a horrific crash that left him with 60 stitches in his head and permanent damage to his eyesight. It was a blow that could’ve ended his career, but Raul wasn’t one to give up easily. After months of grueling rehabilitation, he returned to racing—but it wasn’t the same. His vision was still compromised, and after some soul-searching, he made the bold decision to pivot.

That’s when his RM Autosport garage came into play. In 1996, at just 27 years old, Raul took the reins of an existing garage on Monaco’s Avenue Prince Pierre. He started small, selling a few cars for friends. Fast forward a few decades, and RM Autosport has become a staple in Monaco’s luxury car scene, with Raul selling hundreds—if not thousands—of high-end vehicles. His keen eye for valuable cars, like a 1996 Porsche GT1 (which he sold for a cool $700K, now worth $15 million), soon made him a trusted name in the business.

However, the location wasn’t ideal. Situated on one of Monaco’s primary streets, just moments away from the rail station and Condamine Market, the garage spanned only 100 m2—displaying supercars in such a tight space was no easy task! But Raul, true to form, made the best of a tricky situation. He became a master at squeezing up to eight rare, luxury vehicles into his showroom, with just enough space to protect the paintwork and wing mirrors. And, oddly enough, this skill became his next big victory. Monaco, a magnet for supercar fans, draws enthusiasts eager to snap photos of Ferraris, McLarens, and other dream cars. Imagine the wow factor when they spotted a showroom packed to the brim with their favorite models.

Riding high on this success, Raul launched an Instagram account to share his daily garage life. By 2019, he had amassed 40K followers. In 2020, a viral video with Top Marques ambassador and French auto influencer GMK racked up 3 million views. Today, his account—whose bio encourages followers to “follow your passion today, and tomorrow your dreams may come true”—boasts more than 320K followers.

From a taxi in Cuneo to Monaco’s most talked-about garage, Raul’s story proves that no matter how tight the parking, the road to success is always wide open.

From Oncologist to App Developer: A Passion for Cars Drives an Unlikely Career Shift

After two decades as a radiation oncologist, Emmanuel Beguier’s lifelong passion for cars drove him to leave medicine behind and create Carfooly, a studio developing apps and games for automotive enthusiasts.

After two decades as a radiation oncologist, Emmanuel Beguier’s lifelong passion for cars drove him to leave medicine behind and create Carfooly, a studio developing apps and games for automotive enthusiasts.

A successful career in medicine is often considered a safe and well-respected path, but for one man, the pull of a lifelong passion led him to a completely different world: the automotive industry. From radiation oncologist to founder of Carfooly, a studio dedicated to creating applications and games for car enthusiasts, Emmanuel’s journey is a remarkable tale of transformation.

“I started my career as a radiation oncologist. I practiced for about twenty years and developed a private cancer institute in Montpellier,” he recalls. His medical career was rewarding and impactful, but after two decades, the allure of something different became irresistible. “I stopped practicing medicine to focus on other projects, including Carfooly, a studio that publishes and develops applications and games dedicated to car enthusiasts.”

A Lifelong Passion for Cars

Emmanuel’s shift from medicine to the automotive world was deeply rooted in a lifelong fascination with cars. “Cars have always fascinated me,” he explains. “As a teenager, I was passionate about Porsche, and I never missed an issue of Flat6 magazine. Today, it’s more about Ferrari.” But his interest extends beyond just the cars. “It’s not just the cars, but the world of collecting, luxury, and passion that surrounds them,” he adds. “I wanted to create something new for enthusiasts—an environment where they could share, interact, and play around their love for cars, extending this passion through unique experiences.”

This fascination with cars wasn’t something new. “I’ve always loved beautiful cars, prestigious brands, and the evolving technologies in this field. Long before car spotting became a trend, I would visit places where I could admire sports cars, especially near large hotels. Before the internet, I bought every magazine dedicated to beautiful cars. I knew the specifications of every car by heart.” His love for cars had always been a constant, even before he found his way into entrepreneurship.

Transitioning from Medicine to Entrepreneurship

The shift from a stable career in healthcare to a startup in the tech world wasn’t without its challenges. “The biggest challenge was adapting to a new environment,” Emmanuel admits. “As a doctor and healthcare business owner, I already had management and decision-making skills. However, the entrepreneurial world in the automotive and tech industries is very different.”

Despite the steep learning curve, his medical background provided a solid foundation. “Creating a startup in this field requires an innovative approach and a deep understanding of the industry,” Emmanuel explains. “But the adventure is exciting and rewarding every day.” Learning digital communication, social media, and the world of developers was an essential part of the process. “It was crucial for me to learn the world of developers,” he says. “But that was part of the excitement—adapting to this new space while pursuing something I truly loved.”

Carfooly: Turning Passion into Profession

In his spare time, Emmanuel always consumed content about cars on social media. “I noticed there was a lack of platforms that combine community and interactivity,” he explains. “That’s when I decided to develop apps and games to offer an innovative way for people to live and share their passion for cars.” This led to the creation of Carfooly, a studio focused on creating unique experiences for car enthusiasts.

Carfooly’s main projects include The Club and Need for Touring. “The Club is an app that allows you to spot and collect the most beautiful cars, share discoveries, and interact with a community of enthusiasts,” he explains. “Need for Touring is an accessible game for everyone, where each race is a strategic challenge. Players use the right cards at the right time to attack, defend, and cross the finish line first, all while collecting a multitude of items.”

The unique aspect of Carfooly’s projects lies in their design. “They’re made by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts,” he says proudly. “We’re also very proud to have GMK as our ambassador.”

Partnership with Top Marques

As Carfooly grows, the importance of reaching the right audience becomes clear. “Top Marques is the perfect event to reach our audience,” Emmanuel says. “It was a no-brainer for us to be there. It also allows us to meet strategic partners and continue growing our projects. The event is truly magnificent, and the team is top-notch!”

Surrounded by iconic cars at Top Marques, he reflects on the magic of the event. “Being at Top Marques, surrounded by all these fascinating cars, is magical!”

Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Having made his own leap into the world of entrepreneurship, Emmanuel shares valuable advice for those looking to follow a similar path. “Surround yourself with the right people, be curious, and learn constantly,” he says. “Entrepreneurship is about turning your passion into a concrete project, facing challenges every day, and watching your ideas come to life.”

He emphasizes the importance of taking that first step. “It’s about taking the leap, just as I did. Don’t be afraid to follow your passion and take the first step.”
