Over its 21 editions, Top Marques Monaco has steadily built its reputation as a leading stage for unveiling the world’s most extraordinary supercars. From niche constructors to iconic brands like McLaren and Audi, the event has become a symbol of luxury, innovation, and exclusivity. As we celebrate this milestone, we investigate the reasons why Top Marques Monaco has become the ultimate launch pad for automotive excellence.
Top Marques Monaco 2026 is set to break records with 16 debuts, including world-first unveilings and exclusive European and Monaco premieres. Held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the event has become a magnet for both niche constructors and global automotive icons, offering an unparalleled platform to showcase groundbreaking designs and cutting-edge technology.
With more than a score of world premieres to its name, Top Marques Monaco has grown into much more than an automotive event. It is a stage where innovation meets luxury, and where the most extraordinary supercars take centre stage. This year’s lineup reaffirms the event’s status as the ultimate launch pad for automotive legends, setting new standards for exclusivity, craftsmanship, and global prestige.
Why Monaco?
Monaco transcends geography, standing as a beacon of luxury, innovation, and global influence. Renowned as a hub of wealth and sophistication, the Principality provides an unparalleled backdrop that transforms every supercar launch into a moment of international significance.
Few places in the world share such an intimate bond with the automobile as Monaco. Nestled between sea and mountains, it has been the stage for iconic moments in mechanical history for over a century.
In 1911, the very first Rallye Monte-Carlo placed Monaco at the heart of the international automotive scene. A few years later, in 1929, the inaugural Monaco Grand Prix secured the Principality’s place in Formula 1 legend, symbolising its fascination with performance, innovation, and automotive elegance. This deep-rooted connection between Monaco and the automobile has shaped the Principality into a global symbol of automotive excellence, where history and innovation converge seamlessly.
Monaco’s exclusivity and prestige make it the ideal setting for high-profile events. It is a place where ambitions are realised, partnerships are forged, and the extraordinary becomes reality.
Why Top Marques Monaco?
While Monaco’s history and prestige set the stage, it is the unique format and audience of Top Marques Monaco that truly distinguish it as the ultimate venue for supercar launches.
“Top Marques Monaco is one of the world’s most exclusive automotive events,” says a spokesperson for BPM Exclusive. “Held at the heart of the Monegasque calendar, alongside the Formula 1 Grand Prix and the Cannes Film Festival, the event enjoys exceptional exposure. It is an ideal platform for presenting new models to a highly qualified audience. By participating, BPM Exclusive is at the centre of a major event, at the crossroads of decision-makers, collectors, media, and international influencers.”
Unlike larger motor shows, Top Marques Monaco provides a more intimate and curated setting, allowing brands to present new hypercar models directly to a highly qualified audience of collectors, enthusiasts, and decision-makers. The Monaco backdrop reinforces the prestige of a launch, ensuring that new models are revealed in a context that truly reflects their positioning at the very top of the automotive world.
“The audience at Top Marques Monaco is exceptionally aligned with luxury and high-performance brands – knowledgeable, passionate, and often directly involved in purchasing or collecting,” says a spokesperson for Giamaro Automobili. “This creates meaningful interactions rather than fleeting exposure. The atmosphere is refined yet energetic, encouraging deeper conversations, media engagement, and genuine interest in the engineering and philosophy behind each vehicle, which significantly enhances the impact of a brand’s presence.”

Key World Launches Over the Years
Since its inception, Top Marques Monaco has hosted some of the most iconic world premieres in automotive history. From futuristic concepts to groundbreaking hypercars, each debut has added to the event’s legacy.
In its early years, Top Marques Monaco set the tone for innovation with the debut of the Ascari KZ1 in 2004, a handcrafted marvel inspired by racing legend Alberto Ascari, and the A.D. Tramontana in 2005, a Spanish masterpiece with a central V12 engine. By 2009, the event was already pushing boundaries with the Koenigsegg Quant, a revolutionary electric sports car featuring solar cells for on-the-go recharging.
As the industry evolved, Top Marques Monaco became a launch pad for sustainable innovation. The Quant e-Sportlimousine, unveiled in 2014, showcased the potential of alternative energy with its saltwater-powered engine producing 912 hp and a range of 643 km. Similarly, the Toroidion IMW Concept in 2015 promised 1,341 hp and acceleration from 0-400 km/h in just 11 seconds, redefining the possibilities of electric supercars.
The event has also been a stage for unforgettable concepts, such as the ArcaBoard hoverboard in 2016, the Frangivento Charlotte roadster with a built-in aquarium in 2017, and the AeroMobil Flying Car prototype that captured the imagination of attendees.
Recent years have seen Top Marques Monaco continue to set the standard for luxury and innovation. The Audi RS6 GTO Concept in 2023 paid tribute to 40 years of quattro technology, while the Bertone GB110 hypercar in 2024 boasted a modified Lamborghini V10 engine and a €2 million price tag. McLaren’s Artura Spider, revealed by BPM Exclusive, marked the brand’s entry into the hybrid convertible market.
“Being present at Top Marques Monaco has become a strong marker of credibility and a clear signal to an exceptional clientele,” says BPM Exclusive. “It’s a positioning fully in line with the DNA and ambitions of our brand.”
“Top Marques has established itself as a global benchmark, renowned for hosting world premieres, showcasing the most recent supercars.”
