Returning to the Grimaldi Forum for the fourth time, the Italian atelier founded by Dino Bruscino embarks on a transformative new chapter, reimagining its legacy of craftsmanship, design, and innovation under the name Bruscino Design

As the highly anticipated Top Marques Monaco takes centre stage, Bruscino Design steps into the spotlight with a milestone moment. Formerly known as DB Design, the atelier’s new identity represents more than a rebranding – it’s a redefinition of purpose. The focus shifts from the finished object to the artistry behind its creation, celebrating the craftsmanship and vision that breathe life into every piece.

“We started with a dream and a Vespa drawn on paper. Today, we choose to go further. Our journey continues – not as a change of direction, but as the natural story of our evolution. The same art, seen through a broader perspective,” says Dino Bruscino.

Rooted in a passion for vehicles as design objects, Bruscino’s work transcends functionality, blending aesthetics, engineering, and industrial culture. His philosophy of “hidden design” explores the harmony between mechanics, structure, and form, where engineering and artistry merge into a singular creative language.

The Vespa, an enduring icon of Italian design 

At the heart of this vision is the Vespa, an enduring icon of Italian design. Under Bruscino’s hand, it transforms into a contemporary mechanical sculpture, crafted through a meticulous, artisanal process. From the initial sketch to the final masterpiece, each creation is a symphony of worked metals, carbon fiber, precious woods, custom paints, leather, and handpicked fabrics. Even the engine is reimagined with the same artistic precision, creating a seamless dialogue between form and function.

Bruscino Design’s creations have captivated collectors and design enthusiasts worldwide, earning a place on prestigious stages such as the Monaco Yacht Show, Salone del Mobile in Milan, and, of course, Top Marques Monaco.

The Vespa Ocealia boasts a Princely Signature 

One of the atelier’s most iconic moments was the unveiling of the Vespa Ocealia at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo. Inspired by luxury yachting and dedicated to Monaco, the piece was signed by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and Flavio Briatore, symbolising support for the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation’s environmental initiatives. This connection was further highlighted during the 2023 Rewild the Planet charity auction at the Yacht Club de Monaco, where one of Bruscino’s creations was auctioned to fund conservation projects.

Bruscino Design has also forged strong ties with the contemporary art world, collaborating with international artists and expanding its creative language beyond traditional industrial design.
