At least one in four vehicles to be showcased at this year\u2019s Top Marques Monaco is electric, confirming the event\u2019s leading position as a launchpad for the transport of tomorrow.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\u201cWe’re well on the way to achieving our promise: at least 30% of all exhibitors will be \u201cgreen\u201d by 2025, the year of Top Marques\u2019 20th anniversary,\u201d says Emeric Garcia, the show’s director. <\/p>\n\n

Monaco is pioneer in the field of ecology under the impetus of its Sovereign, H.S.H. Prince Albert II. It is of great importance that Top Marques, held under H.S.H Prince Albert II\u2019s High Patronage, strives to promote the efficiency of green technology with a section dedicated entirely to new transport innovations. <\/p>\n\n

The significant percentage of green technology also highlights the march towards electrification in the supercar sphere, one which has traditionally been the preserve of throbbing petrol machines.<\/p>\n\n

Iconic brands such as Audi, McLaren, Pininfarina, Porsche and Rolls Royce will be present in June with their latest electric or hybrid models. They will be joined by new models by Tesla, BYD, Zero Motorcycles, EyeLights, and nanoFlowcell, which will be present with The New Quant, the world\u2019s first electric vehicle which runs without a battery.<\/p>\n\n

Other highlights include Venturi Astrolab\u2019s latest FLEX rover, chosen by NASA to go to the Moon in 2030, and Qibus, a revolutionary technology which allows any modern car to be driven by a remote-control device thousands of miles away.<\/p>\n\n

The exceptional showase of revolutionary vehicles will complete the very latest thermal supercars, motorbikes, superyachts and classic cars.<\/p>\n\n

Tesla choses Top Marques for its first ever European tour<\/p>\n\n

June 5 to June 6Undoubtedly one of the highlights of this year\u2019s line up at Top Marques Monaco is the Tesla Cybertruck, which will make one of its first appearances in France. The electric pick up with a range of 340 miles will begin its odyssey across Europe this week, calling at a total of 100 locations. Its’ 24 hours at Top Marques, from Wednesday 5 June to the evening of Thursday 6 June, will be its first participation at a European auto-show. <\/p>\n\n

Tesla will also be present with its Model S, Model X, Model 3, and Model Y.<\/p>\n\n

The FLEX rover from US company Venturi Astrolab has been selected by NASA to take part in the development of a lunar vehicle for the Artemis programme.
