TOP MARQUES began as a dream 16 years ago and has blossomed into the world’s greatest live supercar show.
Cutting-edge technology, top performance, sophisticated styling and today, a concern for the environment, makes Top Marques a truly remarkable window onto the world of the luxury supercar industry.
Top Marques is predominantly a supercar show but it also showcases other aspects of a luxury lifestyle such as exclusive watches, bespoke jewellery and superboats.
Top Marques changed hands in 2018 after it was bought by Monaco Check-In. Founded in 2007 and managed by Salim Zeghdar, Monaco Check-In is one of the Principality’s leading receptive and event companies. Key events organised by Monaco Check-In include the 83rd Interpol General Assembly and the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie for the Prince's Government. Monaco Check-In is also the receptive agency for the Société des Bains de Mer, the Monaco Yacht Show and the Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress.
Under the arm of Monaco Live Production, the company also organises Les Sérénissimes de l'Humour every Spring at the Grimaldi Forum; major concerts such as Robbie Williams, held to mark the 10-year reign of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, the Eagles and Jean-Michel Jarre during the royal wedding in 2011, as well as Monaco events such as the Dior and Louis Vuitton fashion shows.
Salim Zeghdar wanted to return to the DNA of Top Marques when he bought it - namely the supercars. This first edition of Top Marques under Monaco Check-In was a real success, both in terms of the quality of the exhibitors and that of the visitors, with sales that beat all previous records.
Other reasons which help this supercar show stand out from the rest are:
- Top Marques is the fourth largest event to be held every year in the Principality after the Monaco Grand Prix, Monte Carlo Rolex Masters and The Monaco Yacht Show.
- Top Marques will this year take place just after the Monaco Grand Prix, thus continuing the festival of the supercar in the Principality. Traditionally, it has coincided with the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters tennis tournament, which annually attracts thousands of high net-worth individuals to the Principality.
- Top Marques is hugely grateful for the continued support of Monaco’s sovereign, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. Organisers of the event would also like to acknowledge the backing of the Monaco Tourism and Convention Authority and the Société des Bains de Mer.
