At least one in four vehicles to be showcased at this year’s Top Marques Monaco is electric, confirming the event’s leading position as a launchpad for the transport of tomorrow.
Monaco is pioneer in the field of ecology under the impetus of its Sovereign, H.S.H. Prince Albert II. It is of great importance that Top Marques, held under H.S.H Prince Albert II’s High Patronage, strives to promote the efficiency of green technology with a section dedicated entirely to new transport innovations.
The significant percentage of green technology highlights the march towards electrification in the supercar sphere, one which has traditionally been the preserve of throbbing petrol machines.
Iconic brands such as Audi, McLaren, Pininfarina, Porsche and Rolls Royce will be present with their latest electric or hybrid models as well as Tesla, BYD, Zero Motorcycles, EyeLights, and nanoFlowcell, which will be present with The New Quant, the world’s first electric vehicle which runs without a battery.
Other highlights include Venturi Astrolab’s latest FLEX rover, chosen by NASA to go to the Moon in 2030, and Qibus, a revolutionary technology which allows any modern car to be driven by a remote-control device thousands of miles away.
