Dream Cars are a reality at the Playboy’s Playground

Top Marques Monaco, the luxury and supercar show, makes its third appearance at the Grimaldi Forum from 20th to 23rd April 2006. Not only is this the greatest showcase of the most exciting, exclusive and fastest cares ever assembled under one roof but also Top Marques 2006 will host a number of WORLD and EUROPEAN PREMIERES, including the following:

T1 (UK)
The T1 car is from the same team that developed the McLaren F1. The T1 is a British designed road-going 2-seater sports car which has been developed using aerospace and high formula racing technology. At the heart of the T1 is a supercharged 2.4-litre V8 engine comparable to an F1 2006 specification engine. This gives a 0-100 mph time of 5 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph. The TI has just been announced and Top Marques Monaco will be its World Premiere and the opportunity to see something completely different!!

Venturi Héritage GT3 (Monaco)
The Venturi Héritage GT3 is a powerful GT capable of imposing itself on the track. It has been conceived by the famous engineer Gérard Ducarouge and built in the Principality of Monaco. This is the highest performing French GT car ever produced and is based on a 500 hp supercharged V8 and a weight of 1,000 kg. Never seen in public before until Top Marques Monaco!!

Bentley Continental GT Convertible
The long awaited convertible follow up to the enormously successful Bentley Continental GT will have its World Premiere in New York and a week later it will have its European Premiere at Top Marques Monaco. While sharing the familiar face of the Continental family, the design personality of the new Continental GTC is distinctive and unique, as Bentley's design director Dirk van Braeckel explains: "With the Continental GTC we set out to achieve a style that is both contemporary and elegant but with the sporting stance of a true performance car. We also wanted to ensure that the Continental GTC looks just as beautiful with the roof up as it does when it's down. Official pictures will not be issued until the week before Top Marques Monaco.

Russo-Baltic (Russia)
Subject to the final confirmation of the availability of the car, Top Marques Monaco could be the World Premiere of the first luxury supercar to be designed and built in Russia. The car utilises a Maybach V12 engine and has a most futuristic two door design. The brand, Russo-Baltic, produced cars for the Tsars of Russia and is being brought back to life by a young Russian entrepreneur. Fingers are crossed that the car will be available.

There are a considerable number of new exhibitors to Top Marques Monaco in 2006 and visitors will be in awe at being able to see such exotic cars under one roof. The new 2006 exhibitors include:

Gumpert Apollo (Germany)
Roland Gumpert, who was a designer at Audi, had a dream to build a car that has so much downforce, such aerodynamic efficiency that you could drive on the roof of a tunnel at high speed – and this car can. The Gumpert Apollo is the perfect synthesis of road vehicle and track car. It evokes passion and driving pleasure beyond all expectations: 650 HP, 360 km/h (224 mph) top speed and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3 seconds. The complete package is available in a cost-benefit ratio that cannot be matched in this exclusive vehicle class. As a pure high-performance sports car with racing qualities which is also approved for use on the road, the Apollo Gumpert sets new standards. This fantastic supercar will be on show as well as having a test drive car for a privileged few.

Invicta S1 (UK)
The Invicta S1 sportscar is designed to be two cars in one - a luxurious Grand Tourer and a no-compromise sportscar with the potential to become a class-winning GT racing car. The Invicta S1 is the world's first car to feature a one-piece carbon-fibre bodyshell, which when bonded to the steel tube spaceframe chassis, creates an immensely strong, but lightweight, monocoque structure. This gives responsive handling but maintains high levels of occupant safety. Whilst the car can produce up to 600 h.p. it performs as a true grand tourer and is ideal for long journeys. The car is produced in the UK and a test drive car will be available in Monaco.

Orca (Switzerland)
From Switzerland, there is a new supercar with plans to break the world speed record for production cars, currently held by Bugatti. The car was seen at the Geneva car show in 2005, where it had an Audi twin turbocharged engine capable of over 220 mph. The company is now under new ownership and it has ambitious plans to produce a limited number of these futuristic supercars.

Fisker Coachbuild (USA)
The Fisker Coachbuild 2006 TRAMONTO is a sculpted statement of exotic, two-seat, open-air motoring. Beneath the skin, the engineering excellence of what its base architecture once was – a Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG – remains. At the same time, the TRAMONTO has become something much more, and the differences go beyond what meets the eye. Production will be limited to only 150 cars.

Ford GT (USA)
The Ford GT concludes its limited edition production run later this year but in its short production history it has proved an absolute winner both as a track car and every day transport. This US supercar has proved to be more that on a par with some of the Italian supercars from Ferrari and Lamborghini and has proved a worthy follow up to the famous Ford GT40. With most of the production cars sold in the USA a sighting in Europe is always a rare pleasure.

Frick-Premium (Lichtenstein)
FRICK-PREMIUM is a specialist in individualised Range Rover vehicles. Making the best more special, such as one of a kind is the basis of the company’s philosophy. To achieve this they are setting the highest technical and esthetical standards and constantly try to reach outstanding performance. The company is based in Lichtenstein and can make improvements both cosmetically and under the bonnet to achieve whatever the discerning client requires.

Mosler (USA)
Warren Mosler’s mission is to offer the top performance sportscar manufactured legal for US roads. The car is powered by a mid mounted 435 hp Corvette Z06 V8 and this ultra light weight high performance vehicle sets new performance standards as it delivers a uniquely exhilarating driving experience. The Mosler has just entered the European market and is very competitively priced against some of its US and European competitors. This will be the first time the car is seen in Monaco and a test drive car will be available to a limited few.

If some of the above newcomers don’t whet the appetite then you can always rely on the exhibitors who have supported Top Marques since its inception:

Spyker
Spyker is about passion, the passion for creating a car that combines timeless beauty with supreme performance; be it on the track or on a country lane. The passion of being one of the happy few owning it, driving it or racing it. Spyker is built and conceived in Holland but one of its best markets is China where the car was exhibited at Top Marques Shanghai. Its two sports models are the C8 and the C12 but a new SUV is to be launched in 2006, which will be a very exciting car. A test drive car will be available for the special few seriously interested in buying a Spyker.

Wysstec Mirabeau
Wysstec is a Swiss company, which produces the super cars Leblanc Mirabeau and Leblanc Caroline, high performance dream cars with the real “spirit of race”. The Leblanc Mirabeau was launched at Monaco in 2005 but it will now be seen in 2006 as true production car. Utilising only the lightest and best materials like titanium and magnesium to reach a weight of only 812kg by a power of more than 700hp. With the world record braking Koenigsegg CCR engine, it accelerates with slicks in a little bit more than 2.5 seconds to 100km/h and reaches a top speed far above all imagination. A truly beautiful and special car.

Pagani Zonda F
The Pagani Zonda F is regarded by most connoisseurs as one the greatest supercars ever built. With 602 h.p. from a 7.3 litre V12 engine the performance and handling reaches new heights. The latest convertible Zonda F will be one of the two cars on display at Top Marques Monaco.

Wiesmann
The latest Wiesmann GT has been getting rave reports in 2005 and has proved a best seller with a long waiting list. Each Wiesmann is hand crafted to the owner’s requirement so the car is a bespoke work of art. The full range of models will be on display as well as a test drive car for the lucky few.

Bugatti Veyron
These are just a few of the cars on display and others include Carver, Lamborghini, BMW, Porsche, Radical, TVR, Hummer, Wysstec, Rolls-Royce, Brabus, Hollister’s and Jaguar. Top Marques Monaco will be the only show in the world which will be displaying some of the rarest and most exciting luxury and supercars all under the same roof. A show which no serious buyer or enthusiast can afford to miss.
