SUPERCAR SALES BONANZA

TOP MARQUES MONACO, held from 20th - 23rd April 2006, sold more cars at this show than the previous two shows put together. HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco opened the show at 0930 hours on the first day with more than 200 press and 10 television stations eager to get a glimpse of the supercars on show. The Bentley Continental convertible was seen at Top Marques for the first time in Europe, and as was expected with this great new car, it stole the award for highest sales taken. Caparo unveiled exclusively its supercar with Prince Albert removing its cover. For the first time anywhere in the world, Gumpert and Fisker were to be seen, which created huge interest from both buyers and press.

Pagani, Wiesmann, Spyker and Donkervoort were strong crowd pullers. This year we received nearly ten thousand visitors, of which high net worth individuals were to be seen in abundance. Top Marques exclusive database will enable the ongoing success and growth of the show.

The Celebrity Lunch which was held at the Salle Empire in the Hotel de Paris, had over 200 guests and sponsors. Our guest speaker this year was Murray Walker, who was a huge success.

The Monaco tourist board provided a cocktail party at the Grimaldi Forum for all the exhibitors and their guests on the first day, and Prince Albert hosted another cocktail party at the Palace for a lucky 150 invitees.

For the duration of the show we were very grateful to Andreas Liveras, who gave us his 84 metre superyacht ALYSIA, which was used by the sponsors Citigroup, Cavendish White, Knight Frank and Proair and their guests. The lunches were prepared by the renowned superchef, Russell Pond.
