2004 TOP MARQUES MONACO
Over 10,000 visitors flock to Monte Carlo for the first World Exclusive Supercar Show
Performance, luxury, style and elegance were the key ingredients of the very first exhibition exclusively dedicated to cars of exception. Top Marques, held at the Grimaldi Forum , Monaco , from the 22 nd – 25 th of April this year.
Thanks to an inspired and effective PR and marketing campaign, over 10,000 visitors attended the show in addition to 120 journalists and television crews. A staggering Eur 35 million of business was written during the four day event. A resounding success!
Prince Albert of Monaco officially bestowed his high patronage by opening Top Marques and subsequently hosting a gala dinner for 450 VIPs. A substantial amount of the total proceeds were donated to some of the Prince’s charities (Monaco Aide et Presence).
Monaco was chosen for the launch of Top Marques for obvious reasons – the motoring heritage, the glamour, the wealth and exclusivity of the Principality, not to mention the excellent transport facilities.
Some of the rarest names in the industry featured at this first ever event including; Bentley, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Koenigsegg, Spyker, Wiesmann, Morgan, Wysstec, Lotus, Carat Duchatalet, Pagani, Covini, Lotec, Maybach, Mercedes McLaren, Porsche, Mercedes and Aston Martin. Manufacturers were present from Sweden , Italy , Germany , UK , Switzerland , the Netherlands , Monaco , Belgium , Russia and the USA .
