TOP Marques Monaco - the world’s most exclusive car show - will take centre stage next week when it opens to an anticipated audience of more than 40,000 visitors.
Never seen before supercars, a flying roadster and many more eye-popping vehicles will be on display at the Grimaldi Forum on the water’s edge in Monaco from April 16th to 19th.
The show, which has been organized in association with the esteemed private bank the Edmond de Rothschild group, offers car collectors the unique opportunity to test state-of-the-art vehicles on a section of the Formula 1 GP circuit before taking them home.
The annual event has also become extremely popular with 'carspotters' who come from all over the world to catch a glimpse of their favourite supercars roar through the picturesque streets of Monaco.
The magic continues inside the glass-domed exhibition space where hand-picked watches, jewels and luxury products are showcased in an area leading up to the Espace Ravel – the show’s piece de resistance dedicated to more than 60 supercars and tuners.
Where to head first? Below is a guide to the 10 Things Not to Miss at Top Marques Monaco 2015:
No. 1: THE TOROIDION 1MW CONCEPT
There has been much written in the motor press about the Toroidion MW1 Concept, to be unveiled at Top Marques.
However, very little has actually been revealed by Finnish manufacturers about the vehicle, except that it will be fully electric and develop one megawatt of power, hence the 1MW name. This equates to 1341 hp, the same power as the Koenigsegg One:1 which achieves its power from a twin-turbocharged 5.0-litre V8.
To see this revolutionary vehicle come to Stand E1 in the Espace Ravel or go to www.toroidion.com
No. 2: TESLA MODEL S BY LARTE DESIGN
Also to be launched at Top Marques is the Tesla Model S by Russian tuners LARTE Design, who will be revealing their vehicle combining “ultimate performance and environment-friendly technology” to the press at a special event on April 16th at 3pm.
Paying tribute to the famed inventor Nikola Tesla, known as the Master of Lightning, the LARTE studio has sketched lightning-like sharp lines to highlight the sporty nature of this superb vehicle. New interior features and large forged wheels complete the design.
To witness first-hand the craftsmanship of this vehicle come to Stand D4 in the Espace Ravel or go to www.larte-design.com
No. 3: BRITISH TV LEGEND NOEL EDMONDS' LAUNCHES LA RIVIERA
Noel Edmonds, a self-confessed petrol-head and one of the first Top Gear presenters, has announced the launch of a 21st century version of the first classic Jaguar racer, La Riviera at Top Marques 2015.
The cars are stunning recreations of a bygone era, fitted with straight-six 4.2 litre engines and offering 220bhp. Open-top excitement is combined with the best of English design and quality, including Connolly leather and Wilton carpets.
Noel himself raced at Le Mans and owned a string of exotic super cars, including a rare Ford GT40 sports car similar to the record breaking model that won Le Mans for four straight years in the late 60s.
He said: "The car epitomises the style of the 1930s and it is an exact recreation of the original even down to the design and weight of the nuts and bolts. It is not to be confused with the SS100 copies and kit cars, each one is completely hand-made and will take five months to build by craftsmen in England.”
La Riviera will be on view at Stand C3. www.classicriviera.com
No. 4: MAZZANTI EVANTRA INSIDE CASINO DE MONTE-CARLO AHEAD OF TOP MARQUES
For the first time ever, fans of Top Marques will be able to get a sneak preview of some of the vehicles being exhibited at the show before it even opens thanks to some exciting new partnerships with key venues in the Principality.

No. 5: AEROMOBIL 3.0
Without doubt one of the highlights of this year’s Top Marques will be the AeroMobil 3.0, the world’s most advanced prototype of a flying car which is being transported from its home in Slovakia just for the show.
The revolutionary vehicle, which designers hope will be on the market by 2017, will be transforming from car to plane every 20 minutes on its Stand F3-F4 in Espace Ravel.
The company describes the AeroMobil 3.0 as “a car that fits into any standard parking space, uses regular gasoline, and can be used in road traffic just like any other car.
“As a plane it can use any airport in the world, but can also take off and land using any grass strip or paved surface just a few hundred metres long.”
No. 6: PITS 1 & 2 FOR RECORD NUMBER OF TEST DRIVES
The USP of Top Marques is that VIP visitors are invited to test drive the supercars on a section of the legendary Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit.

A spokesman for Gold Energy explains: “15,000 years ago, the glaciers covering the mountains of northern Bohemia started to thaw. Protected under a fortress of geological layers built up by glaciers 90,000 years ago, the thawing water filtered in the depths of the Earth, where its purity has been preserved to this day. Filtered naturally, the ice-aged water kept an untouched purity as if directly from the source.”
